Andre M. Haroche
Andre Haroche is the co-founder of the Silverleaf companies and has nearly 2 decades of experience as principal investor in private equity and real estate, while managing a family office. Prior to founding Silverleaf, Mr. Haroche’s had a 15-year career as an executive & co-owner of the US’s largest privately held leisure travel company, Liberty Travel with annual turnover of approximately $1.7 Billion USD.
At Liberty Travel Mr. Haroche began as a travel agent and ultimately became the firm’s Chief Information Officer where he was responsible for staff of up to 140 consisting of consultants and in house employees, an annual operating budget of $20MM and managed an ERP implementation with a capex budget of $60MM. During his tenure at Liberty Mr. Haroche was awarded the industry’s “top 100 rising stars” award for three consecutive years.
Today, Mr. Haroche runs the Silverleaf companies which invests and manages real estate and direct private equity investments. Investing by backing management teams and/or forming joint ventures, the Silverleaf companies have participated in a number of diverse projects ranging from property development in Eastern Europe, to investing in modular housing subdivisions in the Williston, North Dakota. In addition, he is an advisor and co-investor with Grumman Hill group, a growth equity firm founded in 1985.
Mr. Haroche received his B.S. from New York University’s Stern School of Business in Finance (cum laude) and later an MBA with a double-concentration in Operations Management and Finance; he received the Dean’s Honor Key Award and The Founder’s Award for academic excellence.
Mr. Haroche is on the Board of Directors of Green Check Verified, a Fin-Tech, and Reg-Tech SAAS platform serving the banking industry. Mr. Haroche previously served on NYU-Stern School of Business’ Board of Overseers, the Economics Club of NY, The Leisure Travel Advisory Board for ITT Sheraton/Starwood. Mr. Haroche is Sierra Club lifetime member and an avid mountaineer who has summitted some of the world’s most significant peaks.
